If you enjoy a drink every once in a while, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and keep all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Grab whatever cash you intend to spend on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You might have a success after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and wager. The two simply do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah out of the casino might be a bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive actions is required. If you play to succeed, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to burn your assets without a worry, then drink all the complimentary booze your stomach are able to handle, but don’t carry credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated brain loses everything!
Let me to carry this a single step further. do not drink alcohol and then jump online to wager in your preferred casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my domicile, however due to the fact that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.
Why? Although I do not consume alcohol a lot, when I drink, it is certainly enough to cloud my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. The two mix up for a ferocious, and expensive, cocktail.
